Faces of Honour: an initiative from Fondation Québécoise des Vétérans

The Barry F. Lorenzetti Fondation is proud to support Fondation Québécoise des Vétérans. One of the programs we support is the Faces of Honour exposition, which commemorates veterans over a 3-week period close to Remembrance Day.

A moving and important commemorative event for many over the past several years, approximately 60 veterans are approached to participate as subjects of an exposition that honours their service and experiences in the Canadian Military. Professional photographers visit with the veteran and the resulting photos are displayed at an exposition over a 3-week period close to Remembrance Day (October-November).  The elegant and inspiring display which takes place at Saint Anne’s Veterans Hospital on the West Island of Montreal, includes a description of the veteran’s history and service; from World War II to recent service in Afghanistan. Families of the veterans, many who come from far, are gifted with the professionally matted and frames photos following the event.

The Foundation was proud to showcase the Faces of Honour exposition at the Barry F. Lorenzetti Inaugural Gala in 2018.
