The Barry F. Lorenzetti Foundation is committed to advancing mental health care in Canada by improving access to care and combatting stigma.
Mental health issues comprise a wide array of struggles: whether it’s with situational bouts of depression, crippling anxiety or debilitating post-traumatic stress disorder. A staggering one in five Canadians is affected by mental health issues in their lifetime. Perhaps it is you, a family member, a friend or a colleague. No one is untouched.
The Foundation is proud to reveal Project Lion, which represents bravery in the face of mental health challenges.
In order to eradicate obstacles hindering Canada’s mental health system, the Barry F. Lorenzetti Foundation proudly reveals the creation of its Project Lion. The focus will be on 2 areas: youth mental health, and military-related PTSD. Our enthusiasm for this philanthropic endeavour is met by the opportunity for creating meaningful impact.
Help us advance mental health care in Canada by improving access to care and combatting stigma. Let’s make a difference together!
